Teatime at Vanille Cafe & Patisserie

Bought vouchers from Ensogo for a Parisian afternoon tea time with petite fours and drinks at Vanille Cafe & Patisserie which is valued at Php375 and drum roll please... I only paid for Php185. Bought these last December 12 and I needed to use it before it expires which is tomorrow. :)

Made it there at around 10pm. Yes, woke up really late. I thought we'd never made it! And boy did we made it! The place was almost deserted, which was a huge plus for me. Hate crowds. :P

My first visit was when I wanted to go around for the best French Macaron in town. Now, after almost a year has passed and they never fail to make me happy.  They recently opened their latest branch at SM City Cebu.  Will need to visit them there soon, it's next to Forever 21. Hard to miss.

Where do I start?! Gosh! :)

I was expecting the petite fours to be served just like how small they are on free tastes, was I wrong! Look at these lovely babies! They have Mango Cheesecake topped with a fresh mint leaf, Dark Chocolate Cheesecake, Brownies, Egg Sandwiches and Scones with a good selection of butter and strawberry jam. :)

It was raining outside and this was a great way to warm up. They served our choice of tea. They didn't have Earl Grey so we opted for the Ceylon Green Tea instead. After a few minutes, they bought two hot ceramic teapots with hot water. Fresh tea made right at your table.  ♥

Here are close up shots of the petite fours. The fresh mint was a wonderful twist to the sweet mango slices from the cheesecake. If only we can print them and eat it right? ~sighs

The egg sandwich was my favorite. It brought me back to my high school days. The bread was great too. Judging from the texture and the taste, it was made with wheat and rye. It was great! We sliced the scones, spread some jam and butter and boy was that a whooper!This would be my first. Scones and tea. I felt English all of a sudden. :D

The brownie tasted like a crinkle. I didn't thought that there was ever a fine line. :)

Need I say that it was worth it? It truly was! God! All this for Php185. Went home with a warm tummy and a note on my calendar to visit them again soon.
